This field meeting will be led by Fiona Hutchings MBNA for the Essex Field Club, with a kind invitation to BNA Essex members to take part. It is a large tract of calcaeous grassland a great habitat for many species. There is also an ancient wet woodland, heathland, planted copses, water bodies and scrub, so a varied site. Wear appropriate clothing, & bring along a packed lunch (there are picnic tables & a compostable toilet in the Woodland Walk). The meeting point is the layby entrance for Rowney Woods TL56703439 at 10.30am. Leaving site at 3pm.
