Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th December 2021: BNA Essex “Tree” in Brightlingsea Christmas Tree Festival.
December 11, 2021 - December 12, 2021
Event open over weekend at: All Saints’ Church, Church Road, Brightlingsea, Essex CO7 0RZ
(Preparation days 9th & 10th December 2021)
Once again BNA Essex will be putting our wildlife-themed “tree” into the Christmas Tree Festival at All Saints church, Brightlingsea, Church Road, Essex CO7 0RZ. This is a very successful annual event to which large numbers of people attend & many organisations have a themed “tree”, so a good opportunity to promote the needs of wildlife. If branch members would like to help put this year’s BNA Essex “tree” together a few days before the event please contact the BNA Essex via the branch email address. Your help would be welcome. If you attend the Festival at the weekend don’t forget to vote for our wildlife “tree”, & enjoy the festival.
We do not use a Christmas Tree conifer, but in past years we once constructed a tree from coastal wicker pots & shells, on another occasion created a glade from willow prunings & another year re-created a traditional “Kissing Bough” of woven willow, holly & bay with a sprig of mistletoe in its centre. Come along & see what it will be this year! (There is a small entrance fee for the Festival payable at the door).
