SUMMARY:BNA Essex Christmas Tree in Brightlingsea Christmas Tree Festival 9 - 11th December 2022
DESCRIPTION:Come along to see the BNA Essex Christmas Tree in the Brightlingsea Christmas Tree Festival on from Friday 9th  – Sunday 11th December. \nThis year it is in a new venue of St James Church which is where Victoria Place meets the High Street in Brightlingsea\, Essex CO7 0EB. (All Saints church is currently undergoing works).  Friday 9th December from 4 – 8pm\, Saturday 10th from 10am – 6pm & Sunday 11th from 10am – 6pm. \nWe have taken part in this for a number of years with natural history themes for our “trees”. Not once have we used a conifer\, but have created the trees with loppings\, trimmings of shrubs/trees subsequently composed or re-used. The popular event has many ingenious themed ‘trees’ from the community. \nEntrance free for under 16s\, & £3.50 for adults\, money supports Brightlingsea’s historic churches \n \nPictures above of BNA Essex ‘tree’ 2021 (using compostable cellulose ‘tinsel’); \nBelow are some BNA Essex Christmas “trees” from some previous years: \n \nBNA Essex’s “Kissing Bough” in 2017 Festival\nMaking BNA Essex 2016 “Glade”.\n  \n
