BNA Essex Branch “Christmas Tree”
8th – 9th December 2018 Once again BNA Essex will be putting our wildlife-themed “tree” into the Christmas Tree Festival at All Saints church, Brightlingsea, Church Road, Essex CO7 0RZ. This is a very successful annual event to which large numbers of people attend & many organisations have a themed “tree”, so a good opportunity to promote the needs of wildlife. Spring Flowers & Insects; Cockaynes Wood
An afternoon nature walk led by award winning naturalist Dr Chris Gibson who is a BNA Fellow. This fascinating 50 acre community wildlife site contains Cockaynes Wood, an ancient wood recorded in the Domesday Book, plus Villa Wood, Railway Wood & the former Villa Farm quarry. BNA National Conference with Field Activities
BNA Essex will be again attending this amazing event, especially as Epping Forest is within our local area! The morning will be a diversity of field activities led by experts held within the close-by Forest.
