SUMMARY:BNA Essex Branch "Christmas Tree"
DESCRIPTION:8th – 9th December 2018 \nOnce again BNA Essex will be putting our wildlife-themed “tree” into the Christmas Tree Festival at All Saints church\, Brightlingsea\, Church Road\, Essex CO7 0RZ. This is a very successful annual event to which large numbers of people attend & many organisations have a themed “tree”\, so a good opportunity to promote the needs of wildlife. If you would like to help put this year’s BNA Essex “tree” together a few days before the event please contact the BNA Essex via the email address on our branch homepage on this website. Your help would be welcome. If you attend the Festival at the weekend don’t forget to vote for our wildlife “tree”\, & enjoy the festival. \nWe do not use a Christmas Tree conifer\, but in past years we once constructed a tree from coastal wicker pots & shells\, on another occasion created a glade from willow prunings & last year re-created a traditional “Kissing Bough” of woven willow\, holly & bay with a sprig of mistletoe in its centre.
