SUMMARY:BNA Essex at Flatford Mill FSC BIOBLITZ Wed 29th May 2024
DESCRIPTION:BNA Essex members all welcome to take part in the BIOBLITZ 2024 at FLATFORD MILL on the Essex Suffolk River Stour border on Wednesday 29th May 2024. Last year found 201 species\, the aim is to beat that! If you are coming along as a BNA Essex member please let us know by the BNA Essex email so we can co-ordinate on the day. We will be doing some of our own sessions\, plus there are set events by the FSC at 8am Bird ringing\, 9am small mammals & moth trapping\, from 10am range of activities including BNA activities\, 8pm twilght walks for owls & moths\, 9pm bat walk. Camera traps will have been set up. BNA will be pond dipping\, plant & insect spotting etc. Its an all day event looking closer at nature at the fabulous Flatford Mill location made famous by the paintings of John Constable. The FSC are opffering refreshments on the day. \n   \n
